  • There are 10 openings for bands. If they are all filled you can join waitlist. If there are any cancelations they will become available.

1st Place: $500
 2nd Place: $250
 3rd Place: $100

Contest Rules

  • One Fast song 
  • One Slow song 
  • One Instrumental 
  • Three Person Minimum
  • Six persons Maximum
  • Acoustic instruments only (exception of the bass)
  • Bluegrass Style Songs
  • Single Mic Presentation
  • Limited to the first 10 bands to register!
  • Performing Band members are not eligible to compete 
  • The judges' decisions are final.
  • Registration Fee: FREE at arizonabluegrass.com
Pre-registered bands must be present 1 hour before preliminaries or their spot will be giving to another band
    Preliminary Round
    Friday, November 6, 2026 
    Band order drawing: 4:30 PM at the ABA Booth 
    Performances begin at 5 PM 

      Final Round

      Saturday, November 7, 3pm.
